About WireMe

I founded WireMe believing in a simple, powerful promise: that crypto should bring financial access and freedom to everyone. But for years, that promise felt conditional. It required users to take massive risks, trust strangers in complicated P2P exchanges, and be technical experts just to understand what was happening.

A single question kept me up: If this technology is so powerful, why is it still so difficult and risky for real people to use?

I realized the answer wouldn't be found in the hype online; it had to come from a product that truly put the needs of users above all else. One that guaranteed trust and was designed around human needs. That acted like a partner, not a gatekeeper. That search led me to Kenya.

What I saw here was incredible: mobile money (M-PESA) is built on clear, step-by-step verification. It taught me that trust here is never assumed,.. It must be assured. This was the blueprint. We realized we could combine the speed, transparency and global reach of the blockchain with the simple, guaranteed execution people already rely on locally.

WireMe is that blueprint realized. We built a platform accountable to its users by removing the biggest source of anxiety: counterparty risk. We do that by building radical accountability and transparency into every transaction through Smart Contract Escrow (SCE).

With SCEs, your crypto funds are locked securely by code,.. not by a person,.. until the local mobile money payment (like M-PESA) is verified. The code ensures honesty in every exchange.
